“Hand job” Definition: An outercourse referring to the sexual stimulation of a penis using the hands and fingers.

“Hemophilus Vaginalis” Definition: This is a bacterium that causes vaginitis or bacterial vaginosis, a bacterial infection of the vagina or, in men, of the urethra. The sign of this infection in women include a vaginal discharge that looks like thin, grayish paste and has a strong, fishy odor. Men usually do not have visible symptoms, but on occasion the infection may cause a burning or itching when urinating. It is essential that a complete of antibiotics be followed.

“Hemospermia” Definition: The presence of blood in the seminal fluid. It could signal a problem in the prostate, and should be checked by a urologist.

“Hermaphrodite” Definition: The real hermaphrodite displays both genders.

“Heterosexual” Definition: Attraction felt by individual of the opposite sex.

“Home Pregnancy Test” Definition: A commercially available urine test that allows a woman to test for pregnancy herself, in her own home.

“Homosexual” Definition: Attraction felt by individual of the opposite sex.

“Hormones” Definition: Endocrine secretion produce of glands transmitted to the organ on which has a specific effect.

“Human Chronic Gonadotropin (HCG)” Definition: A hormone that is produced by the placenta within several days of conception to help maintain the corpus luteum during the early weeks of pregnancy. The presence of this hormone in the woman’s urine and blood is an indication of pregnancy.

“Human sexuality” Definition: Comprises a broad range of behavior and process, including the physiological, psychological, social, cultural, political, philosophical, ethical, moral, theological, legal and spiritual or religious aspects of sex and human sexual behavior. Sexuality varies greatly by culture, region, and historical period, but in most societies and individuals has a large influence on human behavior. In almost any historical era or culture, the arts, including literary and visual arts, as well as popular culture, present a substantial portion of a given society’s views on sexuality. In most societies and legal jurisdictions, there are laws on what sexual behavior is permitted.

“Hymen” Definition: Membrane that covers the entrance to the vagina or  maidenhead.

“Hypospadias” Definition: The condition when the urinary opening in the penis is not at the tip, but somewhere else on the head or shaft of the penis. This is a congenital abnormality, and can usually be corrected with surgery before it results in urination problems and sexual difficulties later in life.

“Hypothalamus” Definition: A gland and nerve center of the body. It is located in the brain, above the pituitary gland. Hypothalamus sends chemical and neural messages to the pituitary gland, which responds by producing hormones that affect different organs. Sexual development is one of the processes affected by the hypothalamus.

“Hysterectomy” Definition: The surgical removal of the uterus.

“Hysterotomy” Definition: A surgical incision into the uterus through the abdomen to remove fetal tissue. This is an uncommon abortion procedure used when there are significant medical reasons that make it unsafe for other methods to be used.
